DIY: Glitter Coasters

So some time ago I bought some 'Mod Podge'. I've seen so much DIY videos on youtube and they all seem to use it. Once I got it, I was not sure what to do with it. There were just too many projects! I kinda forgot about it, till I found it this morning. Since I love glitter I decided it had to be a glittery thing, so I went around in my appartment to see what could use some glitter. I ended up with clear glass, slightly boring, coasters. I never used them so it was about time.

First I collected everything I think I needed. Mod Podge, glitter, a brush or sponge and ofcourse the coasters. I got an old magazine as an underlayer so it would be easier to get the excess glitter back in the container. Then I put a thin layer of Mod Podge on the coasters and spread the glitter all over. Tap off the excess and let it dry for about half an hour. Then put on another layer of the Mod Podge to seal it all, so the glitter won't come off when you use the coasters. Let it dry for another hour or so. When the Mod Podge turns clear and you can see all the glitter again, it's dry and you're left with pretty coasters!

I got really excited about this so now I keep looking around what else I can put glitter on! I'm thinking my next project will be a phonecase.

Hope you liked this DIY!
